The Opportunity
Our client, a well-established principal contractor with a strong UK presence, is seeking an experienced General Foreman to join their growing team in South Yorkshire. With a secure pipeline of infrastructure projects and long-standing relationships with repeat clients, this is an excellent opportunity to be part of high-profile schemes that make a real impact in the local region.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification

• Supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers

• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance

• Coordinate with site management and project teams to ensure smooth delivery

• Monitor progress and report on project performance

Requirements

• Proven experience as a General Foreman or Site Supervisor within civil engineering

• Background working on infrastructure projects

• Experience working with tier 1 or large contracting organisations

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to manage teams and drive performance on site
