Based on the east side of Birmingham, with good transport links and free parking at their offices.  Our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for your next career move in the construction sector? UPB Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic business in Birmingham, working in a fast-growing and high demand sector.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally for a civil engineering sub-contractor

• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage project budgets and contracts

• Experience working for an infrastructure sub-contractor is advantageous

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all commercial aspects from inception to completion

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and reports

• Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to contractual obligations

• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver successful project outcomes
