The Role – Quantity Surveyor (Civil Engineering)
As a Quantity Surveyor in Mansfield, you will play a key role in managing the commercial aspects of multiple civil engineering projects across East Midlands and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing project costs from tender through to final account
Subcontractor procurement and commercial management
Preparing valuations, variations, and cost reports
Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and margin targets
Supporting operational teams with commercial advice
Building strong working relationships with clients and supply chain partners
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or groundworks
Strong knowledge of subcontractor procurement and contract management
Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (preferred)
