UPB Recruitment is working with a leading civil engineering contractor to hire a talented Quantity Surveyor in Wakefield. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-value, government-funded infrastructure projects with real regional impact.

The Role
Take ownership of cost control and commercial performance across multiple infrastructure schemes. You’ll manage valuations, variations, final accounts, and work closely with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure successful delivery.

What We’re Looking For
Proven Quantity Surveyor experience in civil engineering or infrastructure
Strong knowledge of NEC contracts
Experience on public sector or government-funded projects (preferred)
Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills
Relevant degree (preferred) and full UK driving licence
