UPB Recruitment is working on behalf of a well-established civil engineering contractor to recruit an experienced Freelance Senior Engineer for a project based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

This role is ideally suited to a Senior Engineer who is detail-oriented and comfortable working in an office-based environment, with a strong focus on quality assurance, documentation, and project compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing QA processes and ensuring all documentation is completed accurately

• Reviewing and maintaining site records, ITPs, and as-built documentation

• Supporting project teams with technical compliance and standards

• Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and client representatives

• Assisting with planning, reporting, and programme tracking

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Engineer within civil engineering projects

• Strong knowledge of QA processes and paperwork management

• Experience with documentation systems and project compliance

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team

• Valid CSCS card

• Strong organisational and communication skills
