📍 Role: Freelance Site Engineer/ Setting out Engineer

📍 Location: Durham

📍 Scope of Work: Groundworks, foundations, slipform

📍 Rates: 280 – 320 per day depending on experience

UPB are a specialist construction & infrastructure recruitment company, working with a specialist contractor to hire a freelance Site Engineer to work on a project in the Durham area.

As Site Engineer, you will be required to set out and manage QA package for groundworks, foundations, drainage, and Slipform concrete. 

Experience required:

• CSCS Card

• HND, HNC or Civil Engineering degree is preferred

• Previous experience as an Engineer, setting out of civils & groundworks projects

• Competent with QA, and working as a lead Engineer with a self delivery contractor

• Ability to work under deadlines, organising and prioritising deadlines to meet construction programme targets

• Understanding of setting out, using and EDM/ Total station.

The successful Site Engineer should be located in commuting distance of the North East of the UK, as accommodation will not be provided.
